		The Bee Gees were influenced by The Mills Brothers and met them personally, as well as Ella Fitzgerald.
		On 21 March 1960, the Gibb brothers met Tommy Steele at Brisbane`s Tivoli Theatre. He was one of their early music idols.
		"Turn Around, Look At Me" was the 5th Bee Gees single, released on 12 October 1964. This release was the 1st to credit the group as `Barry Gibb and The Bee-Gees`.

		On February 27, 1968 The Bee Gees began an 18-date stint in Germany. The support band was Procol Harum.
